Last updated November 2, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Respite VPN ("Respite", "we") for using the Respite apps and servers. By using Respite you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Respite.

What Respite is

Respite helps you reach the internet on networks that restrict it. It carries your traffic through our servers in an encrypted form. We recommend it for everyday use such as messaging, email, social media, maps, news and browsing.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use Respite.

Fair and lawful use

Our servers are shared by everyone, so please do not use Respite to:

Because we keep no logs, we cannot see what you do. We can still limit or block a device key that is harming the service or other people, for example by flooding a server.

You are responsible for following the laws of the place where you use Respite. Some countries restrict VPN use.

Respite Pro

Respite Pro is an optional subscription bought through Google Play. It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions, and Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Prices are shown in Google Play before you buy. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.

Ads

The free version of Respite may show ads. Ads are necessary to keep our servers running and Respite free to use. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Availability

We work to keep Respite available around the clock. Servers and features may be added, changed or removed over time as the service grows.

No warranty

Respite is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profit or business, from using or being unable to use Respite. If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Respite in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

Ending use

You can stop using Respite at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering Respite, or block a device key that breaks these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and for important changes we will let you know in the app. Using Respite after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Respite VPN is based.
